Honda brings back the legendary Transalp name for its new mid-size Trail motorbike. The name is already a statement of intent. The midway point between CB500X and Africa Twin
Many of us felt that Honda’s trail motocycle range lacked a motorbike in the middle ground between the CB500X and the Africa Twin 1100. Finally, Honda has created the Transalp 750 to fill that gap, midway between the two in weight, power and handling.
Comfort and power
We love the Honda Transalp 750 because it combines enough space to comfortably seat two people and their luggage, with enough power for fun riding on all types of terrains. You can rent the bike and discover the most hidden mountain roads with it.

A powerful and compact engine
We were expecting a Transalp with a V2 engine. When we discovered that Honda had fitted a parallel twin-cylinder engine, we were left with a strange feeling. Then, when we tested it, we discovered a modern engine, with plenty of power and low down, that takes up less space and makes for a lighter, narrower bike.

Made in Japan
Honda’s quality is never in question, no matter where they make a motorbike. But we admit that when we heard that the Transalp is made in Japan, a few smiles broke out on our faces. Maybe it’s just mysticism, but I feel that Honda’s made in Japan have a superior level of fit and finesse.

A motocycle for everyone
Honda has thought of all types of riders, creating a limited version for the A2 licence (35 kW, 47 cv). The motocycle is factory prepared in a limited version and therefore the riding experience is assured in both the “full” and the limited version. A real Transalp, logically with less power.

Our Transalp 750 are equipped for travelling
At PauTravelMoto we rent motorbikes ready to travel. Unlike others, our Honda Transalp come equipped with everything you need to enjoy your motorbike trips: lateral cases and top-case, fenders, crankcase cover, RAM ball and mobile phone holder. All included in the rental price, with no extra costs.
We have tested the Honda Transalp
A good friend of PauTravelMoto, Sergi Mejías, has already tested the new Honda XL750 Transalp, which will soon be available for rent. In this short video he tells us his impressions: it’s a versatile model, comfortable for all kinds of trips, with a powerful engine and good suspension. According to Sergi, the Transalp will meet the expectations we have. We have ordered a few units that will be available for rent at PauTravelMoto this season. If you want to be notified as soon as the first units arrive for rent, sign up on the waiting list.
